(Reposted from old account. Original posting date: May 3rd, 2007. Nope, these aren't really in order)
Part 1 of a series of the girls of the Survival Horror genre! First up is Ashley Graham, of Resident Evil 4. Yes, I know she's not wearing her sweater. Frankly, I'm surprised that she managed to keep it the entire time. Must be some powerful knitting there.
And yay, I took the time to try out some tutorials! The hair comes from a tutorial by a guy whose name I forget... but he draws great hair!
Who are the Girls of Survival Horror?
I chose from three games (four if I feel like it at the end): Resident Evil, Silent Hill, and the Haunting Ground. (Maybe Fatal Frame if time permits) I tried to draw the characters that are most out of place, without special powers or super powered guns. (So no Ada, Claire, or Danielle in this set. Maybe they'll be in Survival Horror Women)
Hope you enjoy this as much as I enjoyed making it!
A brand new monthly article which showcases some of deviantART's finest equine artists, as well as recognizing the lesser-known but equally talented ones. Interviews, helpful tutorials and features can all be found here too! I hope you enjoy it.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
